The Ekurhuleni Jewellery Project (EJP) is a Section 21(Not for Profit) company that was officially launched in 2009 as a training and incubator programme. At EJP we cater for industry-based training skills programmes and the development of Small Medium and Macro Enterprises (SMME) for commercial success in the jewellery industry.
Over the years, we’ve become one of the most trusted training and incubation project in the industry. We offer an expansive range of services to the industry including laser engraving, laser cutting, mould making, casting and many other services.
EJP is based inside the Rand Refinery's Jewellery village, which allows us to offer a secure and enabling environment to work from.
Through the provision of excellent training and business incubation, EJP will be the incubator of choice in the providing of an enabling environment for emerging jewellers.
By training and providing access to systems and equipment that encourage mass manufacture of jewellery the EJP will give emerging SMME jewellers the opportunity to add value to South Africa’s mineral resources and meet the market needs of a growing local and international market.
